Arsenal are planning a late move for Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Julian Draxler as a potential replacement for Alexis Sanchez.
Manchester City are said to be preparing a £70million bid for the Chile international, who is ready to leave the Emirates Stadium with only one year left on his contract.

But, according to reports, the Gunners will only sanction Sanchez’s move to their Premier League rivals if they can secure a deal for Germany international Draxler before Thursday’s 11pm deadline.
Arsene Wenger is despirate to avoid a fan backlash, and believes landing a suitable replacement for Sanchez will soften the blow of losing their top star.
Arsenal have also made enquiries about Monaco winger Thomas Lemar and Leicester ace Riyad Mahrez, although both stars are in-demand as the summer transfer window comes to a close.
Draxler has been a long-standing target for Arsenal, who have made several previous attempts to get him.
And PSG could be tempted into a last-minute sale as they look to balance their books following the world record signing of Neymar from Barcelona and the impending mega-money arrival of Monaco wonderkid Kylian Mbappe.
