Dele Alli: ‘Tottenham need one or two signings to win the title’… but wait goes on for new faces
Alli has had his say on Tottenham’s summer transfer policy

Dele Alli believes Tottenham should have a re-think on their transfer policy and sign ‘one or two players’ to land the Premier League crown.
Tottenham are the only club in the Premier League yet to sign a player this summer, while many of their title rivals are spending huge sums on marquee signings.
But Alli believes the addition of just a couple of players could transform Spurs from also-rans into title winners.
He said in the latest edition of GQ: “I think we’re inches away from winning the Premier League. Maybe another player or two players is all we need.”
Alli has been a revelation since his £5million switch from MK Dons, a creative force driving Tottenham forward and scoring plenty of goals, too.
He has bagged 32 goals in 96 appearances for the club and is now one of the most highly-rated players in Europe.
He added: “I think a lot of my goals come from anticipating play.
“It’s about just constantly thinking and trying to predict what’s going to happen. When you’re in the box, it’s all quick-quick-quick.
“So you’ve got to sort of guess what’s going to happen next. Where the ball might fall, so you can get that extra yard on the defender.”
The September issue of GQ is on sale on Thursday.
