The 31-year-old is eyeing a return to Spain with Las Palmas
David Silva is planning on a return to Spain when his contract with Manchester City expires in June 2019, according to reports in his homeland.
The Spanish international is said to have reached a verbal agreement with LaLiga side Las Palmas, with a deal depending on the club retaining their top-flight status.
Silva will be 33 by the time his current contract runs out at the Etihad Stadium and favours a return to his birthplace of Gran Canaria.
According to Elgoldigital, Silva will play two further seasons under Pep Guardiola with Manchester City before joining the islanders.
Speaking 18 months ago, Silva revealed his hopes for seeing out the remaining years of his career.
“If I go back to Spain, it will be to play for Las Palmas,” Silva said.
