It’s been a fascinating Premier League season so far, and the table is taking shape as we enter December and a busy festive period.

In recent weeks, a run of poor results has seen Tottenham slip down the table, while Burnley are up to sixth and Manchester City remain top.

At the other end of the league, Palace continue to prop up the rest.

But places only tell part of the story – it is the points difference that demonstrates how closely fought, or otherwise, the battle for Premier League placings are.

With that in mind, here is a league ladder based on points totals so far, and it’s looking very good for Manchester City…
