Real Madrid are weighing up a January swoop for Liverpool midfielder Emre Can.
The Germany international’s current contract expires in the summer and he is still yet to pen fresh terms with the Reds.
It means Liverpool could be forced to sell the 23-year-old in January or risk losing him for nothing at the end of the season.
Such a scenario has alerted Juventus, who are keen to sign Can if he becomes a free agent in the summer.
But now, according to Corriere dello Sport, Real Madrid are considering landing the German in January ahead of their rivals.
Boss Zinedine Zidane reportedly wants to sign a new central midfielder and Can could be available at a cut price.
