Barcelona want to increase Sergi Roberto’s release clause to an eye-watering £350million amid reported interest from Manchester City.
The midfielder’s current deal expires in June 2019 and he is yet to pen fresh terms.
At the moment, the 25-year-old can be snapped up for just £35million if someone activates his release clause.
Man City are reportedly tempted to do that in January, while Juventus are also tracking the Spain international
But, according to Mundo Deportivo, Barca are looking to raise Roberto’s release clause to £350m as part of his new contract.
The Spanish giants are desperate to hold onto the in-demand star and they are hoping the new clause will ward off interested clubs.
